2011 has been a huge year for True Indie Films. We premiered our first feature film, A.F.K. at the wonderful Convention known as VisionCon! It was a packed house and we could not be happier with the way the movie played. People laughed, cheered, and clapped at all the right moments. I think that moment, when the credits where rolling and people were standing up and clapping for us…That moment was the best moment of my life. I just want to go back in time and hang on to that electrical feeling I had. Goose bumps, a huge smile on my face, people cheering for something that we created. That was magical.

Then later in the year we did something we have been saying we should do for a long time. We turned True Indie Films into an LLC! That’s right ladies and gentlemen we are all legal now. So please don’t sue us. We also changed the name of the movie. Upon doing a search for A.F.K. we found several other films out there with the same name. So to make it less confusing for anybody trying to find our film, we changed the name to “Heroes of Prophecy”, I think it has a nice ring to it. You may still find it dual named in several place, We are working to fix that issue to make things less confusing.

We also decided to continue the story of Kyle and Gabe but in webcomic format. So if you hop on over to www.blackinkcomics.com you will see comic I was trying to create. I am going to redesign that site and make it the Heroes webcomic page. So keep you out on that. What else…Well there is some REALLY amazing news, but I cant tell you what that is yet…You will just have to keep checking back in every now and then until I can tell you what it ….. *whistles as I walk away.*
